BRINGING WOODLANDS TO LIFE
The Telford Woods project involves The Small Woods Association taking on management responsibility for over 450ha of woodland owned by Telford and Wrekin Council. There is a large social forestry emphasis to the project. We are therefore keen to involve local communities in the management for health and wellbeing and upskilling and skills-sharing opportunities. Get involved!
Duration: Ongoing during term-time.
Eligibility: Over 18s only. Support workers welcome.
Work Program: Practical conservation activities.
Facilities: Thursday afternoon; meeting at a rolling rotation of locations throughout Madeley at 1:30pm. No welfare/washing facilities available - be prepared to work outdoors.
